Hello, we have just completed a project to write a Telegram bot for the needs of a marketplace. The discomfort for users was that they had to specifically go to the site and manually check the status of the goods, and then look for the one they needed.
Since this is a ex-usage marketplace, there is a high demand for goods that are purchased almost simultaneously with their placement on the site. Accordingly, everyone is interested in buying and therefore constantly monitors the availability, and then only one of the potential buyers picks it up.
We have improved the situation somewhat by offering a chatbot in which the customer subscribes to the product they need using filters. After selecting the appropriate category and brand, they can choose a price range and city. After that, if the product appears on the platform, the buyer instantly receives a notification in the chatbot with a buy button that will immediately take them to the web page, i.e. the algorithm works like an automated funnel.
According to estimates, as a result of the project launch, about 50% of shipments began to occur automatically, thanks to the BOOBot automated funnel. This case study is about speed and its importance for the customer experience, as well as all related business processes in general. It should be understood that messengers are better than emails in this respect, because people are mostly focused on messengers, where they can respond to incoming messages faster and better. But the situation may be different for B2B products, so you need to constantly study your target audience, even with the help of chatbots that conduct surveys. I will talk about this in more detail in the next posts that will be dedicated to marketing. Thank you for reading to the end! See you 👋🏻
